Check-in

On arrival to the Flight Experience™ Store, present your personal boarding pass at our dedicated Check-in counter.

Meet your first officer

Our Flight Instructor is your First Officer. All of our instructors are real pilots who have successfully completed the comprehensive Flight Experience Instructor Training Course. They are proficient at operating our Boeing 737-800 Simulator and have a high-level of customer service and instructional skills.

Pre-flight briefing & flight plan

You and your passengers will be taken through a Pre-flight Briefing by your First Officer in our dedicated Briefing Area. After assessing your level of expertise, a multi-media presentation will help you choose your flight options including destinations. You can choose from over 24,000 airports! You will then watch a short video explaining the relevant features of the Boeing 737 and its cockpit.

Boarding Call

Your First Officer will guide you and your passengers into the Flight Simulator. As the Captain, you will sit in the front left-hand seat while your passengers sit in the two jump-seats directly behind you. Strap in with your 5-point seat harness and real aircraft headsets. Our simulator is the same as the ones used for pilot training, so don’t be surprised if you suddenly feel like your on-board the real thing!

Your Flight

Now you’re strapped into the captain’s seat of a Boeing 737-800. Your First Officer will brief you on the primary controls and instruments and then you’re ready for take-off!

With permission from Air Traffic Control, you advance the thrust levers and your Boeing 737 hurtles down the runway. “Rotate”, you pull the control column back towards you and the nose wheel lifts off the runway…You’re airborne, and you can start to relax and appreciate the stunningly realistic scenery. But you don’t have too much time for sightseeing; you need to manage your airspeed, maintain your altitude and watch your heading. You need to be aware of any other traffic in the area, monitor a dazzling array of screens and indicators, and complete the real-life aircraft checklists.

Your destination awaits you. Whether you’ve chosen your local airport, an international hub airport or a white-knuckle approach (like Hong Kong’s infamous Kai Tak or Innsbruck amongst the snow-capped Swiss Alps), you must keep a cool head. Now apply your new aviator skills to land over 60 tonnes of aircraft onto the runway!

Regardless of your age, experience, or which Flight Package you choose, we guarantee your Flight Experience will be unforgettable!

The Boeing Store

After your land and dock with the Terminal, you will have the opportunity to browse through our Aviation Products.
We are a Boeing Merchandise Reseller so have a great range of products available! Don’t forget to check out the
Cockpit Photos and DVDs of your flight available at our reception!

The Flight Experience simulator is known as the PS3 and is manufactured by Pacific Simulators 2010 Limited in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is designed as an authentic aviation experience device.

The Boeing 737 (B737) Series is the biggest selling jet airliner ever built. The aircraft size, configuration, economy, range and reliability have made the series a favourite with airlines around the world. Since the B737 was launched in the 1960s with the B737-100, more than 9,700 orders have been placed. With over 7,100 B737s being delivered and more than 5,500 in service today, the B737 represents more than a quarter of the total worldwide fleet of commercial jet airliners. In fact, on average, about 1,700 B737s are in the air at all times and one takes off or lands every 2 seconds!

737s fall into three groups:
  • The Originals: Boeing B737-100 and B737-200. Production was from 1971 until 1988.
  • The Classics: Boeing B737-300, B737-400 and B737-500. Production was from 1984 until 2000
  • Next Generation: B737-600, B737-700, B737-800 and B737-900. Production commenced in 1996 and continues today.

The Next Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft is the biggest selling model and has up to 189 seats, compared to just 100 on the original B737-100. It has more efficient CFM56-7B turbo fans; a new, more fuel-efficient wing and larger tail surfaces – all factors that have encouraged airlines to update their fleets. The new flight decks feature new six-panel LCD screens, providing more effective, easier-to-read information. The Next Generation B737-800 and B737-900 are the largest members of the Boeing family. They are distinguished by new fuselage lengths and an extended single-class seating range.

Testimonials

John H, Narragansett, Rhode Island, United States “Great for the flight enthusiast!”

I took my 12 year old son here while we were in Paris and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience, From the captain who worked with him right down to the fine gentleman at the front desk we were very impressed with everyone at the company. If you or a family member really love to fly then this is a worthwhile experience.

Zinou H, Paris, France "AMAZING flight experience"

I was positively suprised to see my skills as a plane captain for 15 min :D That was thanks to the very professional yet super nice mentor explaining me every single step. I was going to check this company out for my own clients as we want to offer them this little treat. I am convinced this will be a success.

RuMark, Pretoria, South Africa “Wonderful”

What a wonderful treat this was! Welcomed by friendly staff who offered us espresso while we watched the introductory video. We were offered a single flight, or several touch-and-go's from any airports in the world. I can't reinforce how welcoming and friendly the staff are and how helpful they are in fulfilling your dreams of flying a large airliner. The experience is realistic and exhilarating. Expensive, but worth it! We also received a dvd and framed picture to keep the memory.

Marina P, Moscow City, Russia “off the beaten path”

The flight simulator in Paris was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. I went there with my mom as a birthday present to her and we had the greatest time even though neither of us had any previous flight experience. This was mainly due to our very patient instructor, but also to the simulator itself, which was more realistic than I had expected. We chose to fly over Vegas and Hong Kong, and the sights were amazing. It's not the cheapest adventure but it's worth every cent. Would definitely go again.

Victor L, Rio de Janeiro, RJ “Perfect for all ages and levels of experience”

For aviation enthusiasts, this is the place to go. It breathes aviation. And everything is done to remind you of that from the tiniest detail to the sim itself. The instructors are all qualified to fly the real 737NG, so you are getting the best of the best. Their level of expertise and enthusias towards the leyman makes this the perfect experience no matter your level of knowledge. I had a great time and would recommend it to experts and beginners with a crave for adventure alike.
